installations
roof work

I remove unwanted wood burner, old flues and chimney liners. I generally use ladders rather than scaffolding to keep costs down . I can remove caps, tiles and cement to reinstate a chimney.

I install wood burning and multi fuel stoves. I can complete all aspects of the process including breaking out the alcove, chimney liners, chimney pots, register plates, hearths, lintels ,mantles and tiling. I am HETAS registered and ensure installations meet building regulations and can certify the work.

I fit chimney pots of various shapes and sizes and also bird and rain guards to prevent nests and damp. I fit chimney caps for disused chimneys to keep out the weather, reduce heat loss and prevent wildlife from entering

''I moved into a Victorian flat in Westbury on Trym and had a beautiful open fire that had been capped off. Paul from chimney mate removed the cap, put a new pot and bird cover, swept the Chimney and smoke tested and we now have a fully functioning beautiful open fire. Paul arrived on time and delivered an excellent clean service at the agreed price. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chimney mate for their professional and friendly service''.
